Leylie’s first popover shirt is inspired by Cali living in the seventies and is aptly named “The Retro” shirt. The body is uniquely boxy and slightly cropped while still being flattering and wearable with any style of jeans or slacks. Made in a super drapey washed denim fabric, “The Retro” is a cool and comfortable weight for those warmer spring and summer days. The sleeve length is flattering and unexpected. The neckline is higher without looking too buttoned-up. With tonal buttons and French seams, the proportions on this shirt are masterfully balanced.  All in all, there’s something groovy about this denim shirt.
